Paul's work is sold in galleries throughout Tasmania, mainland Australia, the USA and Britain.

Paul Noordanus was born in Holland in 1959. He arrived in Australia in 1980 holding diplomas in Horticulture, and Forestry, Land and Water Management. He worked as a surveyor's assistant which enabled him to nurture his interest in flora, timber and the Australian bush. Paul came to Tasmania in 1984 and completed a diploma in Fine Art at the Tasmanian State Institute of Technology, Launceston, majoring in sculpture. His unique ability in collecting the most spectacular pieces of Tasmanian timber along with his design flair, allow him to create sculptural forms and individual commissions for collectors of art and craft, worldwide. He lives and works at his studio, surrounded by nature near Deloraine.
